The current COVID-19 public health crisis is unprecedented in the U.S. and worldwide. Everyone, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, medical workers, and biology researchers are busy doing whatever they can to fight against this epidemic. To help them handle the emergency and buy time for the suffering patients, ABclonal developed ABScript II One Step RT-qPCR Probe Kit (RK20407), a ready-to-use kit that can be used to quantify RNA with outstanding performance. Here, we would like to introduce the kit as well as the four reasons that you should use it.
ABScript II One Step RT-qPCR Probe Kit a ready-to-use kit allowing reverse transcription and subsequent probe-based qPCR in a single tube. It contains all components for RT-qPCR except for primers, probes and RNA templates, which means it can be used to quantify any RNA target. For a COVID-19-specific RT-qPCR kit, check out 3DMed's SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic kit, which have a limit of detection of 5 copies per reaction.

This One Step Kit allows reverse transcription and subsequent probe-based qPCR to be completed in a single tube. After reverse transcription, the hot-start version of Taq polymerase is activated at 95°C and the ABScript II Reverse Transcriptase is inactivated simultaneously. In the subsequent PCR reaction, the 5 '-3 'exonuclease activity of Taq polymerase cleaves the hybridized probe, separating the reporter from the quencher and releasing fluorescent signal. The one-step format significantly improves sensitivity and effectively prevent contamination.
The following figures demonstrate the extraordinary sensitivity of ABScript II One Step RT-qPCR Probe Kit.
Higher amplification ability compared to other brand
The kit shows great stability under different temperatures and multiple freeze-thaw cycles
Enzyme Stability Test(Store at 4℃ for 1/3/5/7 days vs Control)
Freeze-Thaw Test (10/30/50/70/100 Cycles vs Control)
Depend on the color dye you're using, the kit is compatible with the most common real-time PCR instruments in the market. Here's our recommendation list:
